Job summary

stmicroelectronics pte ltd in Singapore seeks an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to sustain production at backend operations. You will assess equipment availability, coordinate internal and external resources for repair and recovery, and provide technical support on maintenance and tooling issues.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in automation/electronics, 2–5 years in semiconductor equipment maintenance, hands-on troubleshooting, and willingness to travel to subcontractors on short notice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in automation or electronics or relevant discipline.
• 2–5 years experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance or testing engineering in a manufacturing facility (EWS, Final Testing, Burn-in).
• Experience with testing equipment (ATE/prober/handler/burn-in oven) and hardware tooling maintenance.
• Know-how of semiconductor manufacturing process flow, especially final test and finishing.
• Hands-on and analytical, able to articulate problems, analysis and solution.
• Must be team-spirited, self-motivated, responsible with urgency and deadlines.
• Travel to subcontractors may be required on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assess equipment and hardware availability to sustain production demand.
• Coordinate internal and external resources for equipment breakdown repair and recovery at subcon plants.
• Provide technical support on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and spare replenishment in OSAT environments.
• Involves NPI qualification to MP equipment and tooling testing across all subcons.
• Manage equipment inventory, asset reconciliation and decommissioning within GOBM.
