Job summary

Wanco Manpower Pte Ltd represents a client, a world-leading semiconductor fabrication provider, seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer for Singapore East. You will deliver first-line technical support to production, perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot complex equipment issues on ASML lithography systems.

You will plan preventive maintenance schedules, manage spare parts, and drive improvements in reliability, capacity and efficiency while ensuring ISO, 6S and cleanroom compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of semiconductor equipment engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with ASML PAS or XT lithography systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in ASML XT operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment recovery and performance optimization.
• Experience performing component replacement and resolving complex equipment issues.
• Knowledge of FDC, SPC, RTM, equipment alarms and preventive maintenance systems is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, technical documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Able to mentor junior team members and work effectively with production, engineering and equipment vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to production during rotating or swing shifts.
• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment recovery and calibration activities.
• Conduct Level 1 and Level 2 troubleshooting, including critical component replacement.
• Monitor equipment performance, alarms, downtime and maintenance indicators.
• Review and follow up on RTM, FDC, SPC, Daily Rework, Alarm 3 and EMAP activities.
• Improve equipment reliability, capacity, efficiency, utilization and ergonomics.
• Plan preventive maintenance schedules and forecast spare parts and consumables.
• Manage spare-parts inventory to reduce equipment downtime and maintenance costs.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures, recovery instructions and best-known methods.
• Support new equipment installation, facility hook-up, vendor start-up, qualification and production acceptance.
• Lead equipment repair, cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and provide technical training to junior engineers and assistant engineers.
• Collaborate with other manufacturing sites on equipment benchmarking and best-known methods.
• Maintain compliance with ISO, 6S, cleanroom and workplace safety requirements.
• Participate in Emergency Response Team activities when required.
