Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) invites applications for a Senior/Principal Engineer in the Photo Equipment department. The role focuses on sustaining and improving ASML XT platform performance, with hands-on tech support, preventive maintenance, and optimization to reduce downtime.

You will mentor engineers, document procedures, and collaborate with the Mother FAB on best practices while ensuring ISO compliance and safe operations in our fab in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with ASML PAS/XT lithography systems.
• Strong expertise in ASML XT lithography platforms: operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering.
• 1–3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience with ASML XT platforms.
• Senior role candidates with >3 years will be considered for a Senior Engineer position.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and improve ASML XT platform performance to meet operations goals.
• Provide first-line technical support with rotating/swing shifts.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and basic/advanced troubleshooting.
• Manage and optimize spare parts inventory to minimize costs and downtime.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Document maintenance procedures and track machine performance.
• Collaborate with the Mother FAB and participate in Transform programs.
