Job summary

Micron Singapore seeks a Staff Engineer in Equipment Development to drive hardware innovation for 3D NAND, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to meet production goals. You will lead complex projects, oversee tool installation and qualification, and ensure rigorous documentation and safety compliance.

With 2–3 years in the semiconductor equipment field, you will contribute to process optimization, mentor teams, and translate future technology needs into concrete equipment

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of semiconductor experience in equipment engineer roles.
• Strong understanding of equipment operation, troubleshooting and tool installation procedures.
• Exposure to R&D equipment transfer and hardware design optimization is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken communication across local and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive equipment innovation from concept to implementation for advanced 3D NAND.
• Lead and coordinate complex equipment projects with suppliers and sites.
• Collaborate with Process Development to match equipment tech with node needs.
• Oversee tool installation, qualification, commissioning, and data integration into Micron systems.
• Manage project budgets, schedules and resources; report progress to stakeholders.
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure adherence to safety and IP policies.
