Job summary

Singtel is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to partner with Account Sales teams, understand customer business and technical requirements, and lead the technical solutioning of strategic opportunities.

You will own architecture across complex engagements, developing scalable and future-ready solutions, and evaluating AI/ML, quantum, big data, integration and APIs to drive cost-efficient and secure outcomes for global customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 5+ years in IT architecture roles in telecommunications or large enterprises.
• Strong networking and digital platform knowledge.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL or CCNA would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner Account Sales teams to understand customer needs and support pre-sales engagements.
• Define customer business and technical requirements, including regulations and drivers.
• Lead technical and RFI/RFP opportunities with clear ownership of solutioning.
• Develop architecture specifications, blueprints, reference models and standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, big data, integration, APIs) for adoption.
• Drive standardisation and simplification across the architecture landscape.
• Support Proof-of-Concept and pilot initiatives to validate new technologies and approaches.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements and ensure successful delivery.

As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will partner closely with Account Sales teams to understand customers' business and technical requirements and lead the technical solutioning of strategic opportunities.

You will take ownership of architecture across complex customer engagements, developing scalable and future-ready solutions while evaluating emerging technologies such as AI/ML, quantum, big data, integration and APIs. You will also play an important role in strategic accounts and industry planning, ensuring Singtel's technical capabilities are aligned with customer priorities and go-to-market opportunities.

How You will Make An Impact:

• Partner Account Sales teams to qualify customer needs and support pre-sales engagements across assigned sectors and accounts.

• Understand and define customer business and technical requirements, including regulations, business drivers and ecosystem considerations.

• Lead technical and RFI/RFP opportunities across assigned accounts with clear ownership of solutioning.

• Develop architecture specifications, blueprints, reference models and standards and drive adoption across projects.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, tools and frameworks, including quantum, AI/ML, big data, integration and APIs, and recommend appropriate technology adoption or deprecation.

• Drive standardisation, reusability and simplification across the architecture landscape, including reducing duplication, rationalising applications and aligning data models.

• Develop best practices, guidelines and operating models to support consistent solution architecture.

• Support Proof-of-Concept and pilot initiatives to validate new technologies and approaches.

• Monitor competitive developments and understand Singtel's differentiators in the market.

• Identify business value opportunities through technology, data and integration and ensure architectures support cost-efficient, robust and future-ready solutions.

• Lead technical planning for strategic accounts alongside Account teams to align technical capabilities with key go-to-market priorities.

• Lead complex solutions involving multiple business units or cross-functional requirements, from design and build through optimisation, presentation and solution blueprint handover to Operations.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Infrastructure, Operations and vendors to align requirements, resolve trade-offs and support successful solution delivery.

• Support marketing and industry engagements, including technology conferences, trade shows and webinars.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in IT architecture roles, including experience within telecommunications or large enterprise environments.

• Strong expertise in networking, digital platforms or Managed Services.

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

• Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical and executive stakeholders.

• Comfortable working across multiple business units, technical teams and external partners.

• Strong interest in emerging technologies and their application to customer and business needs.

• Professional certifications such as ITIL, CCNA or TOGAF would be advantageous.
