Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive AI-powered enterprise solutions within the CIO FDE Office. You will define strategy, architecture for multi-agent workflows, and collaborate with enterprise architects and Redpanda FDE engineers.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead workshops, and establish standards for prompts, tools, telemetry, and security across cloud integrations, enabling scalable deployment of AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 9 years of software engineering and solution architecture experience.
• Expert-level experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong expertise in enterprise security, authentication & secure integration patterns.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise APIs and integration solutions.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Proven experience leading complex technical initiatives and influencing architecture decisions across teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-grade AI agents and multi-agent workflows across business domains.
• Define standards for prompts, tools, telemetry, and AI solution architecture.
• Lead development of modern full stack web applications and backend middleware.
• Establish reusable component architectures for enterprise deployment of AI solutions.
• Architect secure, scalable, high-throughput integrations with enterprise systems.
• Oversee design and implementation of enterprise integration frameworks.
• Define governance for authentication, authorization, and security patterns.
• Drive deployment reference architectures for AWS-based environments.
• Lead workshops to identify high-value automation and AI opportunities.
• Establish engineering standards and governance for AI deployment.
