Job summary

UNITED TEST AND ASSEMBLY CENTER LTD in Singapore is seeking a test operations engineer to support semiconductor test programs and drive orderly production and on-time shipments.

You will analyze yield and equipment utilization, participate in test programming, and collaborate with planning, QA, and customer service to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in semiconductor test, product engineering, or test operations.
• Knowledge of ATE test methodology, semiconductor test processes, ATE equipment, and test programming.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve test setup issues and work with Planners on setup plans.
• Make engineering decisions and recommend creative solutions to ensure test performance.
• Support test operations and sustaining activities for smooth production and on-time shipment.
• Review and analyze yield, equipment utilization, and quality performance to add value.
• Prepare technical proposals and presentations for customers to initiate improvement programs.
• Collaborate with customers on test program, test hardware correlation, and tester release activities.
• Coordinate tester time, lot scheduling, and hardware/program availability with Planning.
• Work with Customer Service on product code, test flow, lot parameter entry, and database updates.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure quality requirements and preventive actions.
• Support troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and cross-functional activities related to semiconductor test operations.
