Job summary

ST Engineering seeks a QEHS-focused engineer to conduct joint inspections and follow up on rectification works for bus products. You will create customized quality checklists and perform quality checks at various production stages to ensure top-notch standards.

The role requires collaborating with vendors to resolve quality findings and proposing improvements to production quality, while supporting QEHS audits and CI initiatives under the Operations Excellence umbrella.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics engineering.
• 3–5 years in automotive or similar industries.
• Class IV driving license preferred.
• Experience with high voltage EV systems is preferred.

• Conducts joint inspections with customers and follows up with rectification works.

• Conducts quality checks on bus products in complete built state or at production stages.
• Able to work independently with vendors and suppliers on resolving quality findings.
• Proposes and implements measures to continuously improve bus production quality.
• Supports Head, Operations Excellence in QEHS audits and CI initiatives.

• Able to work independently with vendors and suppliers on resolving quality findings.
• Able to propose and implement innovative measures to continuously improve production quality of buses.
• Supports Head, Operations Excellence in other QEHS audits and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics)
• At least 3 to 5 years working experience in the automotive industry or similar industry
• Class IV driving license is preferred but not compulsory
• Skills on vehicle inspection, vehicle testing and commissioning, and handling high voltage s ystems of electric vehicles are preferred
