Job summary

ST Engineering Urban Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance/ QEHS-focused engineer to conduct joint customer inspections, develop quality checklists, and perform vehicle quality checks at predefined production stages.

The role involves collaborating with vendors to resolve findings, driving improvements in bus production quality, and supporting audits and CI initiatives under Operations Excellence.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering in relevant fields.
• 3–5 years of automotive or similar industry experience.
• Class IV driving license preferred but not required.
• Experience with inspection, testing, and high voltage EV systems preferred.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducts joint inspections with customer(s) and able to follow up with required rectification works.
• Creates and usecustomized quality checklists for finished vehicles.
• Conducts quality checks on bus products in complete built state or at pre-determined production stages where required.
• Able to work independently with vendors and suppliers on resolving quality findings.
• Able to propose and implement innovative measures to continuously improve production quality of buses.
• Supports Head, Operations Excellence in other QEHS audits and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics)
• At least 3 to 5 years working experience in the automotive industry or similar industry
• Class IV driving license is preferred but not compulsory
• Skills on vehicle inspection, vehicle testing and commissioning, and handling high voltage systems of electric vehicles are preferred
