Job summary

Singtel in Singapore is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure. The role focuses on enhancing operational scalability through automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices while ensuring a secure cloud environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience working with cloud services, proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform and Bicep, and strong debugging and DevSecOps knowledge. You will contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and monitor cloud infrastructure performance.

The Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that leverage AWS and Azure platforms. The primary objective is to enhance operational efficiency and scalability through automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices. This role aims to ensure a secure, robust, and resilient cloud environment that meets business requirements while adhering to industry best practices and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure.
• Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.

Skills For Success

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3~4 years proven experience with cloud services on AWS/Azure, including architecture design and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in IaC tools: Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills for cloud environment.
