Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore seeks a Senior Engineer-Planning & Control (Marine) to manage master schedules for tenders and production. You will integrate drawings, procurement, construction, test and trials into a single plan using Primavera P6 and prepare baseline, with resource loading.

Monitor material flow and drawings, report progress, and propose recovery plans as needed. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Engineering, strong planning and cost management skills, and good stakeholder

Qualifications

• PM skills in planning, scheduling and costing, risk management, manpower management, and customer relationship management.
• Diploma or degree in engineering are required or preferred.
• Candidates from production ops or marine industries are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Reports project progress versus baseline to Project Manager, including issues and risks.
• Identifies delays and provides recovery schedule to Project Manager.
• Creates job numbers for cost capturing.
• Generates progress and manhour reports.

• Prepares and maintains an integrated schedule of drawings, procurement, construction, test and trials, integrated logistic plan using Primavera P6.
• Prepares baseline schedule which includes resource loading using Primavera P6.
• Plan and monitor timely delivery of materials and equipment to support the production schedule
• Monitor and track the timely issuance of drawings by Engineering Centre to support the production schedule
• Monitor and report to Project Manager of project progress versus baseline, including issues and risks in a timely manner
• Identify delays and provide recovery schedule to Project Manager
• Creates job numbers for capturing of costs
• Generate progress and manhour report

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering fields
• Project Management Skills in the following areas: Planning scheduling and costing, Risk management, Manpower management, Customer Relationship management
• Candidates from Production Ops in yards or marine industry interested in switching to a planning role are welcome to apply
• Able to deal and communicate with people effectively at all levels on the ground, identify and manage issues, cost consciousness and urgency to get things done
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is advantageous, not a must.

• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
