Job summary

Carrier Singapore Pte Limited is seeking a technically motivated engineer to provide equipment selection, system design, heat load estimation and technical support to consultants and key accounts in Singapore.

You will plan and specify to identify customer needs, stay current with air-conditioning codes and standards, and update owners and consultants on developments. You will maintain records and represent the company at industry events and meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Science preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates may apply.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment selection, system design, heat load estimation and technical support to consultants and key accounts.
• Plan and specify to identify customer needs and enhance the company’s chances of securing orders via technical understanding.
• Learn and understand the latest codes and standards for air-conditioning, provide updates to owners and consultants.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, networking events and attend company meetings.
• Involve and grow relationships with Owners, Developers and Engineers to secure specifications on major commercial projects in Singapore.
• Organise trainings for internal and external customers.
• Liaise with authorities and regulatory bodies (NEA, SGBC, etc.) for updates and submissions and maintain records.

To organise on Trainings for internal and external customers. Liaising with Authorities and regulatory bodies (NEA, SGBC etc) for updates and submissions and maintain records.
