Drive Advanced Equipment Development in Nano-Focused Semiconductor R&D

Join Micron Singapore as a Senior Equipment Engineer working on First-of-Kind equipment innovations in a nanotechnology-driven environment. This role is ideal for those with a passion for semiconductor equipment, R&D innovation, and scalable nano-fabrication.

The role involves leading the design, installation, and optimization of pioneering nano-fabrication tools, collaborating across global engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading development, evaluation, and deployment of advanced PCVD tools for nano-scale semiconductor processing.
• Collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams to address hardware gaps, enabling next-gen memory manufacturing.
• Executing installation and upgrades of new tools while ensuring quality and adherence to project schedules.
• Generating and maintaining documentation for tool performance, cost metrics, and maintenance procedures.
• Providing direct support to the NTI (New Technology Introduction) team and First-of-Kind equipment ramp-up.
• Innovating solutions to boost equipment reliability and scalability in nano-device fabrication.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Applied Physics, OR ≥3 years in semiconductor equipment engineering.

In-depth understanding of tool operations, hardware troubleshooting, and installation protocols.

Experience in R&D equipment transfer, tool hardware development, and optimization.

Strong communication and IP protection awareness — essential for collaborative, global projects.
