Job summary

A leading automotive company in Singapore is seeking a qualified engineer with a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering. The role involves proposing and implementing manufacturing processes and managing CAPEX. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience, including 8 years relevant to manufacturing processes, and will support new product development projects. Strong emphasis on quality, responsiveness, and cost control is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of working experience, with 8 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Process.

Responsibilities

• Propose manufacturing process & investments for business quotes.
• Design, develop and implement processes, equipment, jigs and fixtures for manufacturing.
• Support new product development with manufacturing expertise.
• Transfer new/design programs to production.
• Plan project manufacturing process tasks.
• Develop and establish work instructions, routing, and workmanship standards.
• Install and commission new equipment.
• Track & manage CAPEX spending within the allocated budget.
• Meet Departmental goals on Cost, Responsiveness & Quality objectives.

Degree Holder in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical and Electronic Engineering/ Production/Manufacturing Engineering

• Transfer new/redesign/VAVE programs to production

• Track & manage CAPEX spending within the allocated budget
• Meet Departmental goals on Cost, Responsiveness & Quality objectives
