Senior Engineer – Global Facilities Central Engineering, Construction (Electrical)
Provide electrical construction engineering support for semiconductor facility projects across the U.S. and Asia, covering the full project lifecycle from design through commissioning and handover. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards, while supporting global consistency, innovation, and sustainability.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead electrical construction engineering across the full project lifecycle (design, construction, commissioning, and handover)
- Drive delivery of large‑scale fab projects in alignment with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements
- Review and validate electrical system designs to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and project specifications
- Provide technical support to resolve construction, installation, and design‑related issues
- Monitor construction progress and ensure timely resolution of technical challenges
- Support development of project cost estimates, schedules, and business justifications
- Coordinate consultants and contractors to ensure efficient and aligned project execution
Other Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (facilities, procurement, manufacturing, operations, IT) to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Communicate project updates, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders and leadership
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to development and standardization of Best Known Methods (BKMs)
- Support sustainability programs and capacity planning initiatives across sites
AI Responsibilities
- Apply AI‑assisted tools to improve engineering analysis, project planning, and execution efficiency
- Identify opportunities to leverage data and AI to enhance decision‑making and optimize workflows
- Share and adopt AI‑enabled best practices to support continuous improvement
Candidate Profile / Job Requirements
Minimum Required Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in construction projects as an Electrical Engineer
- Experience in EPCM project environments
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and electrical system designs
- Experience in cost and schedule management
- Ability to work effectively in global, multicultural teams
- Willingness to travel as required
Must Have Technical Skills
- Experience in designing and supporting electrical systems in semiconductor industrial environments
- Electrical system design review and compliance validation
- Project execution and project controls (cost, schedule, and risk management)
- Strong technical problem‑solving and root cause analysis capabilities
