Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking an Analog / Mixed Signal Design Engineer to strengthen the Imaging IC Design team. Reporting to the Analog IC Design Team Manager, you will design full-custom analogue IP and support silicon validation for next-generation touch controllers, ambient light sensors, and image sensors.

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s in electrical/electronics/microelectronics and at least 5 years of related experience, with hands-on expertise in analog CMOS IPs

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical, electronics, microelectronics or equivalent.
• At least 5 years’ academic and/or industry experience designing full-custom analog ICs CMOS technology IPs.
• Knowledge in analog layout and CMOS IP design best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design analogue IP to meet specifications.
• Minimize the risk of redesign to optimize schedule and quality.
• Verify the analogue IP design and determine corrective actions.
• Supervise the layout implementation phase.
• Support silicon validation and solve design issues.

Job scope
The position, located in Singapore, is an exciting opportunity to be part of a flexible and dynamic team working in the growing markets of smart sensors. You will join a proactive team, within the IC Design department of the Imaging Division.

Main Aspects Of The Job

• Design analogue IP to meet specifications
• Minimize the risk of redesign to optimize the schedule and quality
• Verify the analogue IP design and determine corrective actions
• Supervise the layout implementation phase
• Support silicon validation and solve design issues
  

Requirements (minimum)

• Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Microelectronics or equivalent
• At least, 5 years’ academic and/or industry experience designing full-custom Analog ICs CMOS technology IPs
• Knowledge in analog layout
  

Requirements (preferred)

• Experience or project work in CMOS Operational Amplifier, CMOS Low Noise Amplifier, Charge Pump, LDO, DAC, ADC, Oscillators will be added advantage
• Experience in ultra-low power design techniques will be added advantage
