Job summary

EY is seeking an Engagement Manager at Senior Manager level to lead complex Data & AI transformation engagements for public sector clients. The role blends consulting leadership with hands-on solutioning, architecture oversight and client management to deliver practical, scalable data solutions.

You will shape roadmaps, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage risks and drive value through technology-enabled change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in consulting delivering complex technology/Data & AI transformation programmes.
• Experience leading large, multi-workstream programmes with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex Data, AI and technology transformation engagements across multiple workstreams.
• Own engagement delivery including scope, milestones, risks, resources and governance.
• Translate business challenges into practical Data & AI solutions and transformation roadmaps.
• Shape and architect enterprise data solutions across data platforms, architecture, engineering, and analytics.
• Provide direction to architects, data engineers and data scientists; challenge proposed approaches.
• Advise clients on AI/GenAI and machine learning applications to business problems.
• Lead engagements in public sector environments with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Partner with teams to ensure scalable, business-aligned solutions.
• Influence senior stakeholders and drive key decisions.
