Job summary

ALTEN Group in Singapore seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design and maintain the technical backbone for embedded systems, including AI-assisted development workflows and CI/CD tooling.

You will work in a scrum team with agile developers across countries, building client tools, server infrastructure, and deployment systems that streamline embedded product development while driving continuous improvement of development methodologies and architectures.

Qualifications

• 5 years of practical experience with software design projects and client tools or infrastructure development.
• Experience with generative AI tools and frameworks to enhance software development workflows.
• Proficient in Groovy, Python, Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of C, Java, C#, and Visual Basic.
• Experience with Git/Mercurial, Nexus/Artifactory, Maven, Jira, Jenkins.
• Familiar with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code (Ansible/Terraform).
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and system integration.
• Experience in PLM processes, design documentation, deployment, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Work in a scrum team with other agile developers in Singapore and across countries.
• Design and develop client tools, server infrastructure, and automation for CI/CD in embedded product development.
• Build and maintain tools and infrastructure for embedded development workflows, including test automation and deployment systems.
• Implement generative AI solutions to improve developer productivity and code quality.
• Lead requirements definition, workload estimation, software design, development, testing and integration of tools and server infrastructure.
• Drive continuous product and development methodology improvements.
• Choose technologies and interfaces for each component and interface in the software solution.
