RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Repair Technician for a Germany-based multinational client, located in Bishan/Marymount, Singapore. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and supporting electronics and electrical systems across APAC service centres.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Electronics or related field with 5+ years hands-on experience, and proficiency with diagnostic and power tools. On-site work, safety compliance, and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a Repair Technician or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair abilities with electronic/electrical equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair faulty electronic and electrical devices and systems.
• Troubleshoot electronic and electrical malfunctions using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Replace or repair defective components and parts to restore equipment functionality.
• Review and support repair activities from service centres across the Asia-Pacific region.
• Provide technical guidance and support on repair-related issues when required.
• Perform rework and repair activities according to established procedures and specifications.
• Read and interpret product service manuals, technical documents, schematics and diagrams.
• Ensure test and diagnostic equipment is properly maintained and operating accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, test results and maintenance activities.
• Communicate repair status, technical findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure all repair activities comply with workplace safety and operational requirements.
