Job summary

CTCI Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an Electrical System Engineer to supervise on-site electrical installations for high-tech manufacturing and Front-End Semiconductor FAB facilities, ensuring interface coordination and execution support.

The role involves reading electrical drawings, coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams, and overseeing HV/LV systems, transformers, UPS, grounding, and lightning protection, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years site experience in semiconductor FABs/high-tech facilities or industrial construction.
• Hands-on electrical installation supervision experience.
• Familiarity with HV/LV systems, transformers, UPS, generators, grounding and lightning protection.
• Strong communication and coordination with Clients, contractors, vendors and authorities.
• Able to work independently in a site-based and shift-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation works and coordinate with construction teams.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings and technical specs.
• Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines to meet project schedules.
• Supervise HV/LV systems installation including transformers, UPS, gens and grounding.
• Support testing, commissioning and energization activities with vendors and utilities.
• Identify site issues and support corrective actions related to workmanship and safety.
• Participate in site inspections, handovers, and coordination meetings with Clients and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Clients, contractors, vendors, authorities and relevant disciplines throughout project execution.

Job Summary

Serve as an Electrical System Engineer responsible for on-site supervision, interface coordination, and execution support of electrical systems for high-tech manufacturing and Front-End Semiconductor FAB facilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Installation & Supervision
   Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
2. Engineering Documentation
   Read and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, and related engineering documents.
3. Interface Coordination
   Coordinate electrical works with construction, equipment installation, facilities, and other relevant disciplines to meet project schedules.
4. Power System Installation
   Supervise installation of HV/LV distribution, transformers, UPS, generators, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
5. Testing & Commissioning
   Support testing, commissioning, and energization activities, including coordination with vendors and utility providers.
6. Site & Technical Coordination
   Identify site issues related to workmanship, safety, design discrepancies, and system interfaces, and support corrective actions.
7. Inspection & Handover
   Participate in site inspections, system handovers, and coordination meetings with Clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
8. Project Coordination
   Coordinate with Clients, contractors, vendors, authorities, and relevant disciplines throughout project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ site experience in semiconductor FABs, high-tech facilities, or industrial construction.
• Strong hands-on experience in electrical installation supervision and site coordination.
• Experience with HV/LV systems, transformers, UPS, generators, grounding, and lightning protection preferred.
• Familiar with electrical drawings, construction sequencing, subcontractor management, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with Clients, contractors, vendors, and authorities.
• Able to work independently in a site-based and shift-based environment.
• Relevant qualifications and licenses must comply with applicable local regulations.
