Job summary

CTCI SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Electrical System Engineer to supervise on-site electrical installations for semiconductor fabrication facilities. The role focuses on interface coordination, alignment with drawings and specs, and hands-on supervision of HV/LV systems, grounding, and testing activities.

Based in Woodlands, the position requires strong communication with Clients, consultants, and subcontractors and a proactive approach to issue resolution and site safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision and coordination for electrical installation works in semiconductor facilities.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and methods.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specs.
• Coordinate with interface teams to align with construction progress and equipment schedules.
• Supervise installation of power systems: HV/LV distribution, transformers, UPS, generators, grounding, lightning protection.
• Support testing, commissioning, and energization activities and site readiness.
• Identify and report workmanship, safety, or design issues; support corrective actions.
• Participate in site inspections, handovers, and coordination meetings with Clients and subcontractors.
• Perform duties as directed by Electrical System Leader / Construction Manager.

Job description

Experience

This position is an Electrical System Engineer responsible for the on-site supervision, interface coordination, and execution support of electrical systems for high-tech manufacturing facilities.

Candidates with experience in high-tech facility construction are highly preferred, with a solid understanding of electrical system design and installation, site management, integration of testing and commissioning schedules, and effective cross-disciplinary interface coordination.

Years of Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of site experience in electrical works for semiconductor fabs, high-tech facilities, or industrial construction projects.

Licenses

Candidates shall possess qualifications and licenses in compliance with applicable local regulations and authority requirements.

• 5. Supervise and support installation of power systems, including HV/LV distribution, transformers, UPS, generators, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
• 6. Support testing, commissioning, and energization activities, including site readiness and interface coordination with vendors and utility providers.
• 7.Identify and report site issues related to workmanship, safety, design discrepancies, or system interfaces, and support corrective actions.
• 8. Participate in site inspections, system handovers, and coordination meetings with Clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• 9. Perform duties as assigned by the Electrical System Leader / Construction Manager.
