Job summary

KWONG HUI ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical installation projects from commencement through testing, commissioning and handover in Singapore's construction sector.

You will plan schedules, monitor resources, coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors, ensure compliance with drawings and specs, and manage site teams to meet milestones while maintaining safety and cost controls.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in electrical installation and project management.
Proven experience managing electrical projects in Singapore's construction industry.
Good knowledge of electrical installation works, drawings, specifications and local project requirements.
Strong project planning, coordination, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Able to lead site teams and subcontractors independently.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple project priorities and deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate with clients, consultants and contractors.
Class 3 driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage electrical installation projects from commencement through testing, commissioning and final handover.
Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower, materials and resources to meet requirements and timelines.
Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
Attend project and site coordination meetings and follow up on actions.
Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings and project requirements for proper execution.
Supervise Project Engineers, site supervisors, workers and subcontractors.
Monitor site progress and resolve technical, coordination and operational issues.
Ensure works comply with drawings, specs, authority requirements and safety standards.
Monitor project costs, material usage and subcontractor works for cost control.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections and rectification with relevant parties.
Ensure milestones and handover deadlines are achieved.
Maintain good relationships with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
Provide regular progress updates to Management.
Perform other project duties as assigned.
