Job summary

AECOM SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to lead medium to large electrical engineering projects in Singapore. You will design power distribution, lighting and control systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical works with building components.

You will manage project budgets, schedules and resources, mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and stay current with Singapore codes and BIM-enabled workflows using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering with design and project management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and Singapore regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage medium to large-sized electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and oversee electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other building components.
• Prepare detailed project specifications, cost estimates, and design programs.
• Manage project finances and resources to meet deliverables within budget.
• Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and progress.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant codes and standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical engineering practices and methodologies.
