Job summary

Sun Siong Engineering in Singapore seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and implement electrical systems for building projects. You will oversee installation, testing and commissioning, ensuring safety and compliance with local codes.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2–3 years of experience in electrical system design and project implementation.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and control systems.
Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and sizing for efficiency and safety.
Select electrical equipment based on technical specs and project requirements.
Provide guidance to drafting team on updates to layouts and schematics using CAD software.
Ensure designs comply with codes and safety standards (BCA, SS, IEC, ISO).
Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers and contractors across the project lifecycle.
Prepare detailed technical reports, cost estimates, and maintenance manuals.
