Job summary

AAC Technologies Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to design and optimize test structures and automate wafer-level electrical testing.

You will perform DC/AC/RF characterization and collaborate with Process Integration and Product Engineering to drive device performance and yield. The role requires 5+ years in semiconductor electrical testing, solid device physics knowledge, and hands-on experience with Keysight/Keithley equipment and wafer probing systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor electrical testing, wafer characterization, or device engineering.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics (MOSFETs, diodes, leakage, threshold voltage, reliability concepts).
  • Hands-on with semiconductor test equipment such as Keysight/Keithley or equivalent, and wafer probing systems.
  • Experience with PCB layout/design tools (Altium, PADS, Cadence Virtuoso, KLayout).
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and wafer sort testing is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SPC and data analysis tools (JMP, Minitab, Spotfire) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical test structures and scribe-line test vehicles for wafer process monitoring.
  • Perform electrical characterization including DC/AC parametric testing and RF measurements with automated wafer probe stations.
  • Develop and optimize automated electrical test hardware and equipment (SMUs, oscilloscopes, network analyzers).
  • Analyze electrical test data to identify process variations and improve yield and device performance.
  • Support failure analysis by investigating electrical defects (shorts, opens, leakage).
  • Collaborate with Process Integration and Product Engineering to achieve manufacturing goals.
  • Prepare and submit BOMs for development projects.

Job description

  • Perform electrical characterization, including DC/AC parametric testing and RF measurements using automated wafer probe stations.

  • Develop, integrate, and optimize automated electrical test hardware and equipment, including Source Measure Units (SMUs), oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.

  • Analyze electrical test data to identify process variations, improve product yield, and enhance device performance.

  • Support failure analysis by investigating electrical defects such as shorts, opens, and leakage issues.

  • Collaborate with Process Integration, Product Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to achieve product and manufacturing goals.

  • Prepare and submit Bills of Materials (BOM) for development projects.

Requirements
