Job summary

Equinix Asia Pacific is seeking a Senior Critical Facilities Engineer (Electrical) to ensure reliability and safe operation of data-center power infrastructure. You will lead electrical operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident response to deliver highly resilient services for customers.

In this role you will supervise complex maintenance, support critical switching, monitor BMS/EPMS, and drive continuous improvement in safety and efficiency at our Singapore facilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating and maintaining critical electrical infrastructure.
• Experience with mission-critical power systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, transformers.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical faults and lead maintenance vendors.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and support mission-critical electrical infrastructure including UPS, generators, switchgear, and distribution systems.
• Lead electrical troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Monitor the BMS and EPMS, respond to alarms and identify risks before service impacts.
• Lead and coordinate critical electrical operations, including maintenance windows and switching plans.
• Review vendor work plans and ensure safety and compliance.
