Job summary

DNV is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to support the Solar PV and Hybrid BESS advisory business across the Philippines and APAC. You will manage projects from development through commissioning, lead electrical technical work, and guide multidisciplinary teams while engaging clients, lenders, and developers.

You will contribute to business development, leverage industry networks, and ensure delivery quality and safety standards. Travel across the APAC region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Systems, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in renewable energy project development, Owner’s Engineering, EPC execution, or advisory services.
• Proven experience delivering Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and hybrid projects.
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy project lifecycle and risk mitigation strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management, client-facing skills, and ability to engage with developers, lenders, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Manager and electrical technical lead for Solar PV, Wind, and BESS projects.
• Manage project execution from proposal stage through completion within schedule and budget.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across APAC and interface with clients, EPCs, developers, lenders, investors.
• Lead Owner’s Engineer assignments through development, design review, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Provide technical due diligence, lender advisory, and advisory services across Solar PV, BESS, and hybrids.
