Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Sr Engineer, Building Services Construction Electrical to lead and manage electrical construction for fab and cleanroom environments.

You will oversee HV/MV/LV power distribution, substations, transformers, UPS, and emergency power systems, ensuring safety, cost, schedule and quality alignment with Global Facilities standards. Role requires coordination with multiple teams, execution of energization plans, and handover to facilities operations, with emphasis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 8–12+ years of electrical engineering experience in semiconductor fab, cleanroom, or high‑tech industrial projects.
• Proven experience leading power distribution, UPS, and critical electrical systems through commissioning and handover.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety and reliability principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical discipline for fab electrical systems including HV/MV/LV power distribution, substations, transformers, switchgear, and UPS.
• Review and approve electrical design packages, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, I&C/Controls, CSA, Process, and tool-up teams; resolve issues.
• Lead electrical commissioning strategy and ensure readiness for RFE and RFM.
