Job summary

Firmus Technologies in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer for Data Centre Infrastructure, covering electrical, controls and cabling. You will join the Engineering and Technology team and contribute to end-to-end design, engineering, commissioning and operational support for our AI Factory developments.

The role requires 8+ years in engineering, with at least 3 years in data centre MEP, strong knowledge of DC/low and medium voltage, and collaboration across

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in Data Centre MEP.
• Strong knowledge of electrical principles across DC, LV AC and MV AC systems.
• Familiarity with APAC region DC standards and norms is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional, multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop design and key documentation from concept to commissioning.
• Assist in qualification, onboarding, and management of third-party consultants and contractors.
• Perform engineering design and calculations for system design for contractors.
• Write equipment specifications and select equipment with appropriate capacities and efficiencies.
• Review contractor electrical drawings and equipment selections.
• Contribute to Operation and Maintenance manuals for maintenance requirements.
• Attend site inspections to ensure alignment with documents and specs.
• Assist in commissioning of electrical and control systems for optimum performance.
• Develop engineering standards and specifications; engage in R&D and design optimization.
