Job summary

StaffKing Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design, installation and commissioning for a major MRT infrastructure project in Singapore. The role requires coordinating across contractors and engineering disciplines to meet project timelines and safety standards.

The candidate should have 8+ years in MRT or large infrastructure projects, with strong skills in electrical drawings, testing, and commissioning. AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in MRT, tunnel construction or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, cable/load calculations, and LV power distribution.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of IEC/SS standards and PLC interfaces preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical SLDs, wiring diagrams, schematics and cable schedules.
• Coordinate electrical design, installation and interfaces with PE/LEW, contractors and other engineering disciplines.
• Review technical specifications and vendor submissions to support procurement activities.
• Supervise electrical installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality and safety requirements.
• Plan and coordinate electrical testing and commissioning for power distribution systems, control panels and field equipment.
• Prepare method statements, testing procedures, risk assessments and commissioning documentation.
• Monitor electrical works to ensure completion according to project schedules and industry standards.

• Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, cable/load calculations, voltage drop, BOQ and electrical systems.
• Experienced in testing & commissioning, including cable testing, insulation resistance, continuity, panel testing and system energisation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, with knowledge of IEC/SS standards, LV power distribution, control panels and PLC interfaces preferred.
