Job summary

PM Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Singapore to provide design support for multiple projects. You will design electrical systems (HV/MV/LV, IT), fire alarm, access control, and related infrastructure, and prepare comprehensive design documents.

You will perform load flow analyses, feasibility and basis design activities, and contribute to procurement and construction phases while reporting progress and manhours. Prior experience with industrial buildings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Min Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Relevant electrical design experience.
• Good knowledge of electrical specifications & requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance under tight deadlines.
• Experience across a broad range of site electrical and instrumentation projects.
• Experience in industrial buildings (pharma, food or mission critical) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Input for Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Power Distribution, 11kV MV, LV Panel, Fire Alarm, Earthing, Security, CCTV, Cable Containment.
• Provide scope of works, specifications, calculations and basis of design documentation.
• Perform design analysis including load flow analysis.
• Execute Feasibility, Concept, Basis Design, Detailed Design for Procurement and Construction.
• Prepare progress reporting and manhour control for electrical scope.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Design engineering electrical systems including High, Medium and Low voltage system, IT system and Designing Fire Alarm, Access Control

• Perform electrical services design input including Lighting & Emergency lighting, Power Distribution, 11kV Medium Voltage, LV Panel, Fire Alarm, Earthing, Security, CCTV and Cable Containment design

• Provide comprehensive scope of works, specifications, calculations and basis of design documentation for projects

• Perform analysis and assessment of design work (including load flow analysis)

• Perform Feasibility, Concept, Basis Design, Detailed Design for Procurement and Construction

• Prepare progress reporting and manhour control for the electrical and instrumentation scope

• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause investigation

About you
