Job summary

GK Consulting is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Singapore to own the electrical hardware design of high-precision automated machinery. You will handle schematics, cabinet layouts, power distribution, component selection, safety systems, and PLC configuration on the in-house platform.

The role requires 10+ years of hands-on design experience, proficiency with EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical, and familiarity with major automation PLC platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
10+ years hands-on electrical design for automated/high-precision equipment.
Proficiency with EPLAN Electric P8 or AutoCAD Electrical; PLC hardware selection.

Responsibilities

Design electrical schematics, power distribution, and control panel layouts.
Select electrical components including PLCs, I/O, and motion controllers.
Create safety architectures per ISO 13849 and IEC 60204.
Configure PLCs and controllers on in-house platforms; PLC programming not required.
Plan wiring, EMI management, and cable routing; lead commissioning.
