Job summary

Sodexo Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable Engineering Manager to lead the site team in delivering safe, compliant and efficient electrical/instrumentation operations for a chemical/pharma setting.

You will oversee utilities and waste systems, manage performance against SLAs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure CGMP compliance while coordinating with cross-functional teams and external service providers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation.
• Minimum 2 years related experience in chemical processing or pharmaceuticals.
• Experience with electrical systems (transformers, switchgears, motors).
• Knowledge of DCS and PLCs; pneumatic/hydraulic controls understanding.
• Familiarity with CGMP principles and regulatory requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker with planning and organizing abilities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and technicians to operate and maintain Utilities and Waste systems safely.
• Manage performance of external service providers to meet SLAs.
• Drive improvement ideas and collaborate with customers on projects.
• Create conducive environment for SHE, quality and training compliance.
• Provide engineering consultations and maintain operation, maintenance and finance records.
• Achieve cost savings and manage annual operation budgets.
• Track KPIs to meet contract targets and resolve cross-functional issues.
• Support design modifications in instrument/electrical aspects with project group.
• Calibrate and validate instrument systems to meet FDA requirements.
