The Diabetes business is focused on improving outcomes for people living with diabetes through advanced technologies, digital solutions, and connected care experiences. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with the Diabetes business. Medtronic announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and to reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic. The Diabetes division, now known as MiniMed, completed its IPO in March 2026. This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investment to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care. The Senior E-Commerce Manager, APAC will lead the development and execution of the regional e-commerce strategy, establishing the foundations for a scalable digital commerce business across Asia Pacific. This role will be responsible for launching and expanding Medtronic e-shops, building a presence across relevant e-commerce platforms, and partnering with country, regional, and global stakeholders to accelerate commercial growth. The position is based in Singapore and follows a Flex work model. Travel across the APAC region is required to support market development, stakeholder engagement, and business priorities.
The Senior E-Commerce Manager, APAC is responsible for developing and executing the regional e-commerce strategy for the Diabetes business. This role will establish the digital commerce foundation across APAC markets, drive online channel development, identify growth opportunities, and partner with commercial, marketing, digital, regulatory, and operational teams to expand customer access through e-commerce solutions.
Define the regional eCommerce vision and growth roadmap.
Align digital commerce strategy with overall business objectives.
Identify growth opportunities across APAC markets.
Prioritize investments across channels, platforms, and countries.
Own eCommerce sales, revenue, margin, and market share targets.
Develop annual operating plans and forecast sales performance.
Monitor key business metrics and implement corrective actions.
Optimize pricing, promotions, and product assortment.
Oversee direct-to-consumer (DTC) websites and online stores.
Manage relationships with key marketplaces such as but not limited to
Lazada, Shopee, Tmall, JD.com, Rakuten, Amazon India, Flipkart
Negotiate commercial agreements and joint business plans with platform partners.
Ensure accurate product listings, content, and digital assets.
Optimize product discoverability and conversion rates.
Manage online merchandising calendars and promotional campaigns.
Improve category performance through data-driven insights.
Monitor and improve the end-to-end customer journey.
Enhance website usability and checkout conversion.
Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
Resolve customer experience issues impacting business performance.
Partner with marketing teams on:
SEO, SEM, Paid media, Social commerce, Email marketing, affiliate programs
Measure traffic quality, acquisition costs, and return on investment.
Support regional campaign execution and localization.
Establish KPIs and reporting dashboards.
Analyze:
Sales trends, Conversion rates, Customer behavior, Marketing effectiveness, Marketplace performance, Present insights and recommendations to leadership
Partner with supply chain and operations teams to ensure:
Product availability
Inventory health
Demand planning
Order fulfillment
Returns management
Minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.
Collaborate with:
Country business leaders, Marketing, Finance, Supply chain, Customer service, IT, Regulatory teams
Balance regional standards with local market requirements.
Identify and implement new eCommerce technologies.
Improve platform capabilities and automation.
Evaluate emerging trends such as:
Social commerce
Live streaming
AI-driven personalization
Omnichannel integration
Lead and develop eCommerce and digital commerce teams.
Coach country teams on best practices.
Build regional capabilities in analytics, marketplace management, and digital marketing.
Foster a performance-driven culture
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of people leadership, commercial leadership, or managerial experience; OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and 5+ years of managerial experience.
Experience developing and executing e-commerce, digital commerce, omnichannel, or online marketplace strategies across multiple markets.
Experience managing commercial programmes, business planning, budgeting, and performance measurement activities.
Experience influencing and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across sales, marketing, digital, finance, operations, and other business functions.
Ability to travel within the Asia Pacific region as required to support business objectives.
Preferred 10 years of experience launching, managing, or scaling e-commerce platforms, digital storefronts, or online marketplaces within a regional or global organisation.
Experience in healthcare, medical devices, consumer health, digital health, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
Experience supporting direct-to-consumer, business-to-business, or omnichannel commerce models.
Knowledge of leading APAC e-commerce platforms and digital marketplace ecosystems.
Experience leading digital transformation, commercial innovation, or business expansion initiatives across multiple countries.
