Qualifications

• PhD in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry or Electrical/Electronics Eng. or MSc with 3+ years in semiconductor dry etch
• Strong track record of publications, patents or invention disclosures
• Interest in technology development and production-worthy technologies
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Proficiency in statistics, data analysis, DOE and with analysis software tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• AI proficiency or AI-enabled ways of working where applicable

Responsibilities

• Rapid deployment of new NAND Dry Etch process technologies
• Drive development efforts prior to device ramp
• Define and implement actions to hit performance targets within timelines
• Handle complex Dry Etch tasks for 3D NAND process evaluation
• Troubleshoot processes with cross-functional teams to improve yield and quality
• Own areas for improvement with Fabs and TD teams
• Identify exciting processes and partner with Fabs for solutions
• Drive process simplification across cross-functional teams
• Incorporate best-known manufacturing methods into early development of new nodes
