Job summary

Galaxy Studio Interior Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a highly skilled draftsman who can translate design concepts into accurate construction drawings, focusing on A&A projects and bespoke carpentry.

You will produce 2D and 3D drawings, ensure compliance with BCA and Singapore building codes, collaborate with design and on-site teams, and manage project documentation from layout to approval.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related technical field.
• Experience in drafting and space planning roles, preferably within architecture, interior construction, carpentry or A&A industries.
• Singapore-specific compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Design acumen with focus on interior construction and joinery detailing.
• Precision and attention to detail in creating complex technical and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Space Planning & Optimization: Strategically plan interior layouts to maximize functionality, flow, and spatial efficiency for residential, commercial, and A&A projects.
• Technical Drafting & Detailing: Produce comprehensive 2D and 3D technical drawings, including detailed floor plans, furniture layouts, elevation plans, sections, and isometric views.
• Shop & Detail Drawings: Prepare all related project shop drawings and detail drawings to ensure highly accurate fabrication and seamless on-site execution.
• Carpentry & Joinery Detailing: Create precise technical specifications and focused joinery drawings for bespoke carpentry solutions.
• Compliance & Submission: Ensure all space plans and drawings strictly comply with local building codes, BCA submission requirements, and architectural documentation standards in Singapore.
• Project Documentation: Assist in preparing and managing complete sets of architectural and construction documentation for project execution and regulatory approval.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with Interior Designers, Project Managers, Architects, and on-site construction teams to refine plans and resolve technical detailing issues.
