Squarepoint is seeking an experienced Asia Vol Trader to join our global team. You will identify, evaluate, and develop discretionary trading strategies in the Asian index or single stock vol markets, contributing to the group P&L.

You will collaborate with researchers and traders worldwide, leveraging our research platform to drive opportunities. The role requires a proven track record in proprietary trading, 3+ years of experience trading Asian indices or stocks, and strong skills in market

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or related field, advanced degree preferred
• 3+ years trading Asian indices and/or Asian single stock; buy-side preferred
• Demonstrated track record on proprietary trading with positive PnL
• Monitoring and analyzing market conditions and trends to identify opportunities and risks
• Conducting research and analysis to inform investment decisions
• Managing exposure to risk by using various instruments, with focus on strong returns
• Self-sufficiency in building trading tools is a plus
• Ability to collaborate with quantitative researchers globally

Position Overview:

We are looking to add an experienced Asia Vol Trader to join our global team. This is a unique opportunity to help identify, evaluate, and further develop Squarepoint's discretionary trading business within the Asian index or single stock vol market. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the research, development, and execution of our Asian vol efforts and will contribute to the overall P&L for the global group. You will liaise and collaborate closely with our researchers and other traders while leveraging our world class research platform.
