Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Director/Senior Director of Technical Business Development to lead strategic, system-level infrastructure pursuits across global Hyperscale, Neo-Cloud and MTDC accounts. You will drive share-of-wallet growth by establishing Vertiv’s power, thermal and modular solutions as the Basis of Design (BoD) for flagship projects.

Qualifications

• Experience shaping Basis of Design for large-scale data center projects.
• Proven ability to influence architectures and technology choices.
• Strong executive communication and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Secure Basis of Design (BoD) adoption for flagship builds.
• Co-Develop architectures with hyperscale partners to address key challenges.
• Build executive trust with CTOs and engineering leaders.
• Unify opportunity capture with global account teams and regional disciplines.
• Direct BU product roadmaps by feeding customer trends and gaps back to R&D.
• Deploy reference designs to accelerate sales cycles and protect margins.
• Coach and develop a high-caliber, cross-regional technical team.
• Represent Vertiv at industry events and standards bodies.
