Ascenda, a global Loyalty-as-a-Service company, is hiring a Senior Director of Risk in Singapore. You will shape risk governance, act as second line of defense, and partner with Legal, Finance, Operations, and IT Security to build a scalable risk framework.

Reporting to CFO, you will lead the monthly Risk Committee and drive remediation, policy translation, and due diligence across clients and suppliers. The role demands 10+ years in risk, start-up experience, and the ability to influence senior

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in risk management with exposure to commercial or business risk

Responsibilities

• Establish and evolve enterprise risk governance framework across all functions.
• Lead a monthly Risk Committee with functional leads to surface risks and drive remediation.
• Own counterparty risk across clients and suppliers, including due diligence and remediation tracking.
• Develop commercial risk standards governing client use cases and deal terms.
• Provide second-line guidance on complex client situations and elevated counterparty exposure.
• Coordinate customer risk and due diligence assessments with cross-functional SMEs.
• Partner with IT security to identify and mitigate cyber and technology risks.
• Support assurance requirements across functions (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
• Own business continuity framework including BIA, continuity planning, testing, and crisis management.
• Oversee regulatory monitoring and data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA).
