Job summary

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) at NTU Singapore invites a PhD‑level technologist to lead the technical direction and development of digital solutions for cognitive and mental healthcare. You will guide frontend, backend and cloud architecture while coding hands‑on with a small team of developers and designers.

You will oversee full‑stack web and mobile development (React/React Native/backend services), integrate AI/ML features and digital biomarkers into production systems,

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with non-technical backgrounds welcome if they have strong software development or digital product development experience.
• PhD preferred but not required; strong industry experience or leadership will be considered.
• Proven experience in full‑stack development (web and/or mobile).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction and system design for digital health projects.
• Oversee full‑stack development of web and mobile applications.
• Guide cloud infrastructure design and deployment (AWS or equivalent).
• Mentor the in‑house technology team and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with clinicians and researchers to translate research requirements into scalable digital solutions.
