Job summary

SINGAPORE MARITIME INSTITUTE is recruiting a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Digital Communications and Outreach to plan and deliver multimedia content, support talent development programmes, and coordinate corporate and programme events. The role involves creating content across video, photography, EDMs, and social platforms while ensuring brand alignment and stakeholder engagement.

Strong communication and project coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree or diploma in Media, Communications, Design, Marketing, Film Production, or related discipline.
• Up to two years of relevant experience for degree holders or five years for diploma holders in communications, digital content, programme coordination, outreach, or events.
• Experience in video production, photography, design, talent or education programmes, outreach initiatives, or corporate events is advantageous.
• Interest in maritime research and innovation and working with public sector, academic, and industry stakeholders is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and produce multimedia content including video, photography, and design assets for internal and external communications.
• Support talent development programmes including scholarships, fellowships, internships, and related administration.
• Coordinate end-to-end events, venues, vendors, speakers, sponsors, registrations, and post-event follow-up.
• Maintain work plans, trackers, databases, and records; assist with budgets and procurement as required.
• Provide meeting support, secretariat tasks, and post-event reporting and archiving of materials.
