Job summary

Rockwell Automation is hiring for a Staff/Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Singapore PMB development organization. You will automate builds, manage packaging, and support CI/CD implementations across projects in a global, multi-site environment.

You will collaborate with regional and global teams while aligning with corporate policies, and you may contribute as part of a Scrum team. Strong scripting, Git, and Windows/Linux experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Five+ years' hands-on software development and configuration management experience.
• Senior/Staff level possible for highly experienced candidates.

Responsibilities

• Automate builds and develop tools for CI/CD and reporting across projects.
• Develop and maintain build scripts to automate builds.
• Manage install activities, packaging, deployment, and repo management.
• Monitor daily build cycles and release hotfix packages.
• Coordinate effort across sites and DevOps personnel.
• Ensure compliance with infrastructure and security policies.
• Maintain build environments and software releases for multiple product branches.
• Design and test integration of components using APIs and scripting.
• Manage software configuration management and deployment processes.
• Possibly participate in a Scrum team as unit test engineer.
• Network with senior internal/external personnel and stakeholders.
• Operate in a globally distributed team as contributor and leader.
• Follow policies on IP, control environment, information protection, and quality.
