Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in DevOps/SRE/Cloud Infrastructure at high-traffic internet company.
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes production experience at scale.
• Proficient in Linux, networking, and distributed systems troubleshooting.
• Expert in CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Proficient in Go, Python, or Shell.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale a Cloud Native DevOps Platform including CI/CD, automation, configuration management, and AIOps.
• Manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Private Cloud).
• Build self-serve tools to boost developer productivity across 3000+ developers.
• Collaborate with SREs and Backend Engineers to improve monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.

Job description

We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to build and scale our client Cloud Native DevOps Platform that supports millions of users and thousands of developers. You will work at the intersection of Infrastructure, SRE, and Backend Engineering to improve deployment velocity, system reliability, and developer productivity.

What You'll Do

1. Build Cloud Native Platform

• Design and develop our clients internal DevOps Platform - including CI/CD, automation, configuration management, and AIOps
• Evolve cloud-native infrastructure on Kubernetes to empower business teams
• Build self-serve tools that boost productivity for 3000+ developers

2. Infrastructure & Reliability

• Manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters, microservices architecture, and multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Private Cloud)
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security - 99.99% uptime mindset
• Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) adoption across the org

3. CI/CD & Automation

• Design and maintain high-throughput CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab CI / ArgoCD)
• Automate everything: from provisioning to deployment to data correction and rollback
• Continuously improve build, test, and release efficiency

4. Observability & SRE Collaboration

• Work closely with SREs and Backend Engineers to improve monitoring, logging, alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry)
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and capacity planning
• Champion DevOps best practices, security, and cost optimization

Tech Stack You Will Work With

• Container & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, GitOps
• Infra as Code: Terraform, Ansible, Terragrunt
• Cloud: AWS / GCP / Tencent Cloud / Private Cloud
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry, Sentry
• Languages: Go / Python / Shell (at least one scripting)
• Databases & Messaging: MySQL, Redis, Kafka, ClickHouse

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 7+ years experience in DevOps / SRE / Cloud Infrastructure role in a high-traffic internet company
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production at scale
• Proficient in Linux, networking, and troubleshooting distributed systems
• Expert in CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform is a must)
• Proficient in at least one language: Go, Python, or Shell
• Understanding of microservices, service mesh (Istio), and cloud-native principles.
