Job summary

ESG Enterprise Singapore seeks a driven professional to drive growth for Singapore's digital industry. You will manage strategic accounts, develop AI sector initiatives, and coordinate with DISG, EDB and IMDA to deliver enterprise development projects and partnerships.

You will engage founders, C-suite leaders and government partners to translate needs into commercial opportunities, while contributing to Singapore's AI ecosystem and technology industry growth.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in the technology industry.
• Background in account or business development, investment, programme management, management consulting or technology commercialization.
• Candidates with technical AI experience and ability to assess AI applications are advantageous.

What the role is

You will be part of Enterprise Singapore's team in the Digital Industry Singapore (DISG), the joint office of Enterprise Singapore, EDB and IMDA. DISG spearheads the development of Singapore's digital economy by partnering technology companies to create competitive products and services from Singapore for regional and global markets. This role combines company account management with AI sector development, spanning programme delivery, ecosystem building and enterprise development.

What you will be working on

This portfolio plays a key part in driving the growth of Singapore's digital industry, with a focus on high-growth technology companies and the development of Singapore's AI ecosystem.

1. Account Development and Management Develop and manage a portfolio of high-growth technology companies, including high-potential AI start-ups, to support their innovation, commercialisation, internationalisation and sustainable growth from Singapore, while serving as the single point of contact for assigned accounts. Engage founders, C-suite leaders and management teams to understand their growth plans and identify relevant partnerships, customers, investors, talent and government support. Coordinate across DISG, government agencies and ecosystem partners to deliver company-level projects and market opportunities.
2. AI Sector Development
   • Develop and deliver initiatives that strengthen Singapore's digital industry, working across DISG and with government agencies, trade associations and industry partners.
   • Provide industry input into programmes and policies, and work with Enterprise Singapore's Global Markets teams to develop overseas opportunities for Singapore-based companies.
   • Develop and manage facilitative platforms that enable matching of suitable AI companies with demand owners across priority sectors to address industry needs and contribute to Singapore's AI Missions.
   • Develop and manage AI accelerator programmes with hyperscalers, frontier AI companies and innovation partners, focusing on capability-building and commercial outcomes for participating start-ups.
   • Build new partnerships and sectoral initiatives with venture capital firms, institutes of higher learning, industry partners and government agencies to address ecosystem AI capability and resource gaps.
   • Translate national AI priorities and emerging industry needs into enterprise development, adoption and commercialisation opportunities.

What we are looking for

At least 5 years of relevant experience in the technology industry, with a background in account or business development, investment, programme management, management consulting or technology commercialisation. Equivalent experience will be considered. Candidates with technical AI experience and the ability to assess the technical feasibility, differentiation and maturity of AI applications will be advantageous. Strong analytical, stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior business leaders, founders, technology leaders, investors, researchers and government partners. Ability to understand company and sector needs, assess technologies and solutions, and translate them into commercial opportunities, partnerships and practical interventions. A proactive team player who can manage multiple priorities and is motivated to contribute to building Singapore's technology industry.
