Job summary

A-IT SOFTWARE SERVICES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Developer / Technical Lead to guide the design, development and implementation of Python-based applications supporting banking operations, process automation and AML/KYC systems.

You will lead requirements, architect scalable backend services with Python, Django and REST APIs, supervise frontend work with React, and mentor junior developers while ensuring high availability, performance and secure delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• 8–10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong experience in Python, Django and full-stack application development.
• Strong frontend development experience with React, JavaScript and CSS/SCSS.
• Solid experience in designing and developing REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong database skills in MS SQL Server and Oracle, including database design and SQL query optimisation.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and Shell Scripting.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level applications with high availability and scalability.
• Strong experience in system integration, MQ, microservices and high-volume batch processing.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, CI/CD, DevOps and Test-Driven Development.
• Strong understanding of unit testing, object-oriented design, UML and software architecture.
• Experience with source control, development tools and release/deployment management.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, solution design and guiding development teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

About the Role
