Job summary

GTM Aluminium Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced CAD/BIM Designer to lead the design and drafting of curtain wall and aluminium façade projects in Singapore. You will create 3D architectural/structural models, produce detailed 2D drawings, and ensure all submissions meet regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent organisation and fluent coordination in BIM meetings. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is highly preferred, with a focus on meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in curtain wall facade, aluminium facade or related works.
• Strong leadership and organisation skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / Revit / BIM (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide design and drafting tasks using Revit and CAD.
• Plan and prepare all drawings per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manage 3D modelling (Architectural/Structure) and BIM quality per project requirements.
• Submit drawings, BIM models and forms to clients and authorities.
• Translate 3D models to accurate 2D drawings and update architectural details.
• Coordinate concept, shop and detail drawings for projects and bids.
• Attend BIM Coordination meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Organise work schedule to meet deadlines; update as-built drawings.
• Prepare materials take-offs and issue production drawings for fabrication.
• Maintain project records and prepare client reports and presentations.

Job description

Demonstrate expertise in Revit and CAD software for design and drafting tasks.

Plan & prepare all drawings in accordance to standard procedures and compliance with the relevant government regulatory requirements.

Manage the process of 3D modelling (Architectural/Structure) and quality as per Project BIM requirement.

Make submissions to clients and relevant authorities and ensure all forms, drawings and BIM models are submitted.

Develop and review 3D models, translating them into accurate 2D drawings.

Prepare, revise, update architectural detail drawings.

Co-ordinate and produce concept drawings, shop and detail drawings for projects, tender submissions, etc

Attend Technical and BIM Coordination Meetings and prepare Minutes of Meeting for BIM Coordination Meetings.

Organise & plan work schedule to meet deadline.

Prepare, revise, update architectural detail drawings.

Prepare materials take-off for projects and issue production drawings/cutting lists for fabrication.

Maintain project documentation and records, prepare reports, letters, presentations to clients.

Updating as-built drawings for final submissions.

Perform any other duties deemed necessary and as assigned by higher management

Requirements

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Min 5 years related experience in the field of curtain wall facade, aluminium facade and related works.

Strong leadership, good organisation and communication skills.

Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Proficient in AutoCAD / Revit / BIM (preferred).
