Job summary

ENNOBLE TALENTS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Design/Technical Manager to lead a seasoned in-house design team on large-scale buildings and infrastructure projects.

The role is a permanent full-time position with strong career progression and requires coordinating with client teams, consultants, and subcontractors to meet budget and schedule targets. You will review drawings, supervise design deliverables, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide the design through approvals and site interfaces,

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board
• Experience in large scale building/infrastructure projects with project value more than $150mil
• Good knowledge of local authorities’ requirement
• Well versed in structure analysis and design software such as ORION, SAP2000, SAFE, PROKON, PLAXIS or other similar software

Responsibilities

• Attend consultant and site meetings with the Project Team; coordinate closely with client's, consultants and sub-contractors to ensure that all the works carried out meet the desired quality/workmanship, specifications, code requirements and the projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage and lead team by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical work for accuracy and technical outcomes.
• Oversee and manage consultant performance to ensure alignment with project timelines, design deliverables, and authority submission requirements for timely approvals.
• Review and validate design drawings provided by consultants and specialists; propose alternative solutions where applicable and feasibility of construction.
• Ensure all design works comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee site work progress, monitor shop drawing progress and provide support to the construction team.
• Resolve site issues related to design or changes required by Construction team, to ensure no delay affecting main program.
• Review and approve RFI & Site-Design Amendments with accuracy and timeliness.
• Vast knowledge of Code Requirement.
