Architecture Design Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Architecture Design Manager to lead the design management function for high-profile development projects in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to oversee the entire design lifecycle, working closely with consultants, contractors, and project teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable developments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the design process from concept, design development, and construction through project completion.
• Drive design excellence, sustainability, buildability, and compliance with statutory requirements, quality standards, and project objectives.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely design delivery and effective resolution of technical issues.
• Review architectural, structural, BIM models, shop drawings, material submissions, mock-ups, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, M&E, and interior finishes to ensure seamless design integration.
• Review variation orders, design changes, and technical submissions while supporting procurement and consultant selection.
• Conduct design audits, site reviews, and TOP readiness inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
• Support property management on design-related matters, defects, and operational requirements after project completion.

Requirements:

• Degree or Master’s in Architecture recognised by the Board of Architects (Singapore), or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in architectural design, design management, or project delivery for large-scale developments.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary consultants throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building regulations, construction methodologies, BIM, AutoCAD, Revit, and sustainable design practices.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with developers, architectural consultancies, or project management consultancies will be highly advantageous.

Other Information:

• Location: Changi
• Working hours: 5 days per week
• Salary: up to S$12,000 plus bonus (salary commensurate with experience and qualifications)
