Job summary

Brunel International S.E.A Pte. Ltd. seeks a Senior Contracts Advisor (Derivatives) to draft, review, and negotiate OTC derivatives agreements and advise trading teams. The role supports a fast-paced energy trading environment in Singapore and requires ISDA exposure and strong risk assessment.

Work location is Buona Vista, Singapore, with a 12-month contract and office hours, collaborating with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Trading teams to manage contracts and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics or related.
• At least 4 years negotiating and managing derivatives-related contracts.
• Experience with ISDA Master Agreements and related documentation.
• Strong understanding of OTC derivatives trading and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts related to OTC derivatives trading activities.
• Advise commercial teams and stakeholders on contractual terms, risks, and compliance requirements.
• Review and negotiate derivative agreements including: ISDA Master Agreements, CSA, VMCSA, Brokerage Agreements, Delegated Reporting Agreements, Trade Confirmations.
• Provide commercial and contractual support for structured transactions and new business initiatives.
• Identify and communicate contractual and commercial risks to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of negotiations and contractual documentation.
• Monitor changes in relevant market regulations and industry practices impacting derivatives trading activities.
• Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
• Support knowledge sharing and provide guidance to junior team members where required.
