Job summary

MYKONOS MEDICAL PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our Downtown Tanjong Pagar clinic. You will provide chairside assistance, prepare treatment rooms, sterilise instruments, and support dentists during procedures to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will handle X-rays, manage patient records, schedule appointments, maintain infection control, and educate patients on oral hygiene.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating dental software and digital imaging systems
• Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures

• Physical stamina for prolonged standing and detailed chairside work

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during clinical procedures by passing instruments and maintaining the operating field
• Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
• Take preliminary patient histories and update patient records with relevant clinical information
• Provide chairside support and patient comfort during dental treatments
• Perform intra-oral and intra-nasal X-rays following appropriate safety guidelines
• Process and develop radiographs utilising digital imaging systems
• Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations and clinic administration
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe clinical environment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
• Handle sterilisation and infection control procedures to meet regulatory standards
• Assist with laboratory tasks including fabrication of temporary restorations
• Support the dentist in treatment planning and patient communication

About the role

MYKONOS MEDICAL PTE LTD is seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at our Downtown Tanjong Pagar location in the Central Region.

This is a full-time position for a Dental Assistant with previous experience in a dental clinic, who can confidently provide chairside assistance and support our dental practitioners in delivering high-quality patient care.
